Saya dan (Anekdot) Jakarta

In being my entire life, maybe this is very mad to get accomplished. A lot sacrifice had been given by me. I call it’s suck situation. Why? Actually, I have no dream to continue my study at UI. I just want a be “engineer” from my previously college.

I didn’t realize, that my first becoming to the Jakarta (May 2006) that’s the first step to be UI’s student. For the first I came to Jakarta and UI, I have business to report KRI (Kontes Robot Indonesia) and KRCI (Kontes Robot Cerdas Indonesia) at Balairung. Jawa Pos send me from Surabaya, to report live to get the news.

Amazing! That firstly I came to UI. Why?  They have personal bus to accommodate the student. The have about four lake and natural forest on campus. And, so glamor with their student. Wow… I never seen before that. Excellent combine!

But, once again, i didn’t realize on 2007, I take extension class for bachelor degree with major civil engineering. Almost two year, I still on the way to get bachelor. Its very different with my former campus. From the lecture, facility, fee, and friends.

On UI i see more  sucks lecture. Yes, they graduted from high education. Excactly with my professor. Ahh… I just want to get out from this campus. I hope, this is my last semester on UI. I hope, January next year will be my 2nd graduation.

I hope, hope and always crossing my hand to get success with my study and after graduate. Let’s see guys…. we will defeat that “the yellow jacket” as soon.

Sedia payung sebelum hujan. Coba saya belajar, coba saya  baca buku tentang metode konstruksi teknik sipil, coba saja tidak meremehkan tes itu. Wahh yang ada semua hanya perandaian. Ini yang saya alami sebulan lalu ketika melakoni tes tahap interview Chevron Geothermal di Garut. Di benak saya, tes ini adalah tes HRD tanpa tes kemampuan teknikal lapangan.

Ketika di berangkatkan bersama dua kandidat lain yang berasal dari kampus Bandung, mungkin sayalah yang paling sedikit membawa amunisi perang. Dalam benak saya, ”Kalau udah gagal, saya masih punya kepentingan di UI”. Makanya saya sedikit meremehkan tes yang paling menentukan ini.

Yah,, kalau udah lolos tes interview ini, tahap selanjutnya tinggal medical check up. Dan, kalau sudah lulus tes kesehatan, tanda tangan kapan mulai siap bekerja. Wat de fak, menyesalnya saya.

Siap mendengar carut mawutnya transportasi Jakarta? Kota megapolitan dengan penduduk lebih 10 juta ini, tak mampu menyediakan transportasi layak bagi warganya!

Hari ini sudah dua tahun lebih saya berada di kota barometer Indonesia. Dua tahun juga menghirup monoksida plus macetsida jalanan Jakarta. Sumpek! Read the rest of this entry »
